Our active Parent/Teacher/Student Organization is key in the development of our new school. We are excited to see this taking shape as we progress. The PTSO is instrumental in raising much-needed funds for our students and teachers and prioritizing the expenditure of these funds. We need the input of every parent and teacher of every student at our school. Thank you for helping to make it a great place to be and learn!

Wednesday, November 2, 2011, the Mountain Vista Middle School PTO organized a fundraiser for the middle school. McTeacher Night was hosted by the McDonald’s on Hunt Highway and Bella Vista from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A percentage of the sales for those two hours, sales of cookies, and donations from customers made up the amount the PTO received. Staff signed up to work in two hour shifts waiting on customers and yelling out names when orders were ready. Thank you to the McDonald’s staff that was so patient with the teachers and the principal during the dinner hour. A big thank you also goes out to the Mountain Vista Middle School PTO and the Mountain Vista staff for rolling up their sleeves and getting out into the community.
